Carmel, CA. Paperback. Near fine copy. 3 3/8" x 5 3/8;" mural image 1 3/4" x 5 18" with the words 'Carmel Dairy Murals by Jo Mora" centered under the image. The postcard was sent to Miss Blanche Partington in 1939 from her friend who describes a tasty breakfast ('yum-yum!'), likely at the Carmel Dairy Restaurant in Carmel. Jo Mora drew murals, calendars, and holiday greetings for the Dairy, usually in exchange for dairy services and products. In the late 1920's, he created two large murals and a smaller one for the walls of the restaurant, where the postcard was likely available for purchase. He also designed the Dairy logo, bottles and bottlecaps.
