Kubel/If it were not for/you there wouldn't be/any me!/Get that off/your conscience!!/Gratefully/Harry Carr." In addition, a full-page SIGNED pencil drawing of a Los Angeles street scene by Suydam, also INSCRIBED to Kubel. Laid in is a TLS from Muir Dawson, member of the Dawson legacy owning LA's oldest bookshop. Mr. Kubel was most likely the manager, beginning in 1920, of the book section of the J.W. Robinson Company department store in Los Angeles. Near fine in very good pictorial dustjacket (light wear to extremities; darkening to spine & edges). Item #14451
