Commissioned by American Factors, Ltd., to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Islands' development. Subjects include an early ceremonial dance, Captain Cook's arrival, Honolulu Harbor in 1850 and the inauguration of fail transportation in the Islands. An uncommon portfolio not listed in Dykes "Fifty Great Western Illustrators."
