The name given to the San Pasqual Press was derived from the name of the old Spanish Rancho on which Pasadena is located. Due to the untimely death of its' owner, Glenn Schoefer, the press published only a few titles and, in the words of Ward Ritchie "...the few they did publish were outstanding trade publications, well-chosen and well-designed."
