"Rare" - Dykes, Billy the Kid #89. The author was a member of the Sheriff's Posse. Originally printed in Wide World Magazine, London, in 1919, this printing provides additional material not contained in the first separate printing in 1922, includes the three illustrations and a letter from Poe to Brininstool substantiating the date of the Kid's death - July 14, 1881. Here, Brininstool "...briefly sketches the Kid's careet up to the time that John W. Poe appeared on the scene. The rest of the article quote's Poe's written account as given to Brininstool. Poe's certificate of authenticity of the story, dated January 19, 1919, is included in facsimile."
