A 45 year resident of Big Sur, Bradford captures, poetically and visually, the spirit and sentiments of a life lived close to the wild beauty of the Big Sur community and coastline. The inscribee, Ed, is Ed Culver. For three decades "Ed, the mailman" delivered groceries and mail up and down the Big Sur coastline, becoming a bit of a folk hero through the years and much loved by the local community.
