A charming and short-lived monthly publication with light prose and verse, some with a nudism theme, by and about the artists and writers of bohemian Carmel-by-the-Sea. Contributors include Lincoln Steffens, his wife, Ella Winter, Ruth Norris Thompson, Peter O'Crotty and others. The ex-mayor of Carmel and Villager Advisory Board Member, Herbert Heron, pens his resignation, expressing unhappiness with his treatment by 'The Villager' editors in not involving Mr. Herron in the editorial process. Also includes numerous advertisements for local businesses and events during that period.
