Robert Charles Goff (1837–1922) was an Irish printmaker and painter who specialised in topographical scenes. During his later years he moved to a villa overlooking Florence where he and his second wif, Clarissa, wrote about the area. The original watercolors replicated in their book were all created direct from nature, in order that they may bear that impress of truth which work done direct from nature best conveys. - Preface. (Inman #27).
