Carpe Diem Fine Books

Darmstadt: Metz & Lautz, ca. 1900. Leporello album (5" x 8 1/2"). Tipped into album is a color panorama map of Mosel in 8 sections (unfolded to 8 x 35 1/2"). The image depicts the Mosel region from Trier to Coblenz along the Rhein River surrounded by a variety of town scenes and buildings. The map is in near fine condition (with faint wear along fold lines). Map is enclosed in folding red paper covered boards with black illustration and gilt lettering to front cover. Some wear to extremities and along spine joints. Item #20164
