The work consists of three parts; 1) a detailed account of the history of the Anyang relics on the basis of data which the author was able to gather from literature at his disposal; 2) some details on the collection at IBDW consisting of 199 objects representing fragments of inscribed bones; the author's index, 282 titles of books and articles dealing with these relics, annotated in brief and a subject index of 72 topics.
