Beautifully bound in three-quarter blue morocco with elaborate gilt decoration to spines; 4 raised bands; a red flower at the center of each spine; gilt lettering; decorative gilt initials 'NSN' surround by gilt wreath on front covers; gilt ruling; top edge gilt; deckle edges; marbled endpapers. Books are in uniformly near fine condition, with minor wear & scrapes. One volume has a small triangular scrape on front edge; the upper 1" on the rear joint of a second volume is starting to split.
