Original Black & White Photograph of a Camping Scene in the Mountains
[ca. 1930s]. 9 1/2 x 16" original photograph (mounted on thin cream cardstock 12 1/4” x 19") depicting a campground scene with 8 campers of various ages standing by a covered picnic area next to the campfire; two white canvas teepees stand in the background. This photograph was likely taken somewhere in the United States as reflected in the English language food products lying on the picnic blanket including a box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes and a jar of honey. There is a nice photographic touch with two campers somewhat obscured behind the rising smoke from the campfire. Various pieces of camping equipment are lying about and the campers are clearly enjoying themselves in the beautiful setting. Photographer unknown. Item #20611
