Large quarto; viii, 459pp; plus an engraved frontispiece of Charles III and dedication leaf, 1 engraved folding map of Spain, 5 engraved plates, 1 folding (The cathedral of Burgos) and an engraved vignette at the end. Lacks Plate VI, Tower and Giralda of Seville. Contemporary calf, title in gilt on black calf label to spine, floral motifs and decorative bands in gilt on spine, raised bands, decorative floral roll in gilt on boards. A Fair copy only with both boards, heavily worn, detached and spine partially missing. The plates are in good condition; the folding map is complete but has some tracing, split along folds and one 3" closed tear. Item #20657
