Designed by Joel Friedlander and illustrated by David Johnson, who has signed and numbered each copy. Printed by Peter Bishop of The Petrarch Press. Illustration depicting the oration in blue and black. Fine condition. This broadside was printed in honor of the 125th anniversary of the great Gettysburg Address, delivered by Abraham Lincoln in November 1863. Peter Bishop founded The Petrarch Press in 1985 with the goal of publishing important classical literature in fine, hand-printed editions produced to the very highest standards. He retired from printing about ten years later and it is now uncommon to find publications of The Petrarch Press from the Peter Bishop era. Item #20662
