The Irish poet and novelist Kathryn Tynan (1859 -1931) was an ardent nationalist and a prominent member of the Dublin literary scene, a friend of Yeats. She was incredibly prolific as a writer, with more than 100 novels, 12 collections of short stories, reminiscences, plays, and more than a dozen books of poetry. Her vast body of work explored issues of feminism, her Catholic faith, Irish nationalism and the First World War.This title is one of her earlier works.
