A wild West story that is "different". How Hugh got tied up with a wild gang and how at last he escaped them. The author was the widely known and loved principal of the palo Alto High School. The illustrator, Joe De Yong (1894-1975), was an American sculptor, etcher, and historical consultant for Western movies. His sculptures and etchings depicted the Old West, including Native Americans and cowboys, as well as polo players.
