Laid in a heavy black paper covered boards portfolio (3" split to spine head), maroon ribbon ties, partial paper title label on spine. A near fine set of this scarce, and beautiful group of color serigraphs by Arturo Fine, artist for Latin American Village for over 10 years. The 11 pictures plus title plate, illustrate the diary of Gaspar de Portola, starting at San Diego and continuing through the discovery of San Francisco Bay, to Monterey and back to San Diego. The manual consists of the passages from the diary that are apropos to the plates.
