In 1981, Giuseppe Mirabella joined the Private Libraries Association and wrote to members with 'an interest in xylography, wood engravings and bookplates' to propose exchanges of his bookplates for "good ex libris from all over the world, preferably of past times..." . In his letter he enclosed 15 examples of his engraved ex libris, 3 signed by him in pencil, offered here. Fine condition Giuseppe Mirabella established a private bookplate museum in Corsico, Italy.
