Contains 145 letters from Charles M. Russell (one of which is to Bill Hart), with 105 individual line engravings and seventy-eight color plates, mostly from watercolors. William S. Hart, silent film actor, screenwriter, director and producer is remembered as the foremost western star of the silent era. Hart was one of Russell's closest frinds.
