Framed Portrait of Emile Zola (with SIGNED Autograph Note)
The portrait of Emile Zola apears to have been taken in the 1880s. Below the portrait is his personal calling card, with his Paris address in which Zola comments to his dear friend about the luncheon they shared at the renowned Cafe de la Paix in Paris and signs with "Emile Zola". The portrait and card is double matted and framed in wood covered with glt (14 3/4" x 9"). The portrait and card are in fine condition; some loss of gilt, mainly on lower edge of frame.
