Berlin: Published by the Ramses Cigarette Company, ca. 1932. Oblong 8vo (9" x 12"). [2 pp text in German]. Complete with 240 tipped-in premium pictures of movie stars. Most of the photographs are of German stars during the Weimar Republic, but a significant number are of American and English stars. Includes Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Ramon Navarro, Jeanette MacDonald, Norma Shearer, Maurice Chevalier, Clark Gable, Sylvia Sidney, Claudette Colbert, Delores Del Rio, Gary Cooper, Gloria Swanson, Joan Crawford and others, with protective guards and full page illustrations of Marlene Dietrich and Clive Brook in Shanghai Express, Hans Albers and Lillian Harvey in Quick, Kathy Von Nagy, Adele Sandrock and Woilf Albach-Retty in Das Schone Abenteuer, Julius Falkenstein and Werner Krauss in Ein Mensch Ohne Namen. One such picture was tucked in each pack of Ramses cigarettes at the time. Publisher's tan softcover with gilt lettering with photograh of movie star Kathe V. Nagy mounted on front cover.
