Munich: Carl Kuhn Verlag, 1924. First Edition. Paperback. 12mo; 45pp plus 4 illustrations. Edge=toned pale green wrappers, else Very Good. Inscribed by Dingfelder on ffep. Johannes Dingfelder was a German physician and nationalist politician. In 1899 he founded an anti-Semitic party in Lower Franconia or Middle Franconia. Dingfelder was a member of the Bavarian Mittelstandsbund, the Deutschvölkischer Schutz- und Trutzbund and is also said to have been a member of the Thule Society. He gave the main speech at the founding meeting of the NSDAP on 24 February 1920 at which Hitler presented the 25-point programme of the new party, which was also re-founded as the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In the 1920s, as a highly regarded individual personality of the Munich political scene, Dingfelder maintained close relations with leading exponents of the NSDAP; his "volkisch economic myth" is regarded as a strong influence on Gottfried Feder's economic policy concepts. Although Dingfelder never joined the party itself, he was always a guest of honour greeted by Hitler at the annual party founding ceremony in the Hofbräuhaus. Item #21825
