Hutchinson, by master printer Carl Hertzog of El Paso, 1946) is a collector's item all the way. Hutch selected and edited the stories, published, promoted, and distributed the 1,000 copies. There is a fine introduction by J. Frank Dobie and the book is illustrated by Harold Bugbee. Did I forget to say that the stories, all tied together by a salty Rhodes's hero, Aforesaid Bates, are excellent?' (Jeff Dykes High Spots of Western Fiction). Octavo. (xxv), 234 pages. Beige cloth with red lettering to spine and red longhorn on front cover in orange and green decorative dust jacket.
