These three lectures were given by Professor Oppenheimer from his notes only and were recorded. The first two lectures, entitled 'Space and Time' and 'Atom and Field', concern the impact on the old Newtonian physics, first of Relativity, and then of nuclear physics, respectively. The third lecture 'War and the Nations' leaders focuses on the involvement of scientists in government policy and international relations.
