Charles Roscoe Savage (1832-1909), was one of the foremost 19th century landscape photographers of the western United States. He is noted for taking the first photographs of what would later become Zion National Park and he recorded the construction of the Mormon Temple and Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. This biography features a portfolio of his work, a list of public collections, a bibliography and genealogy, and a chronology of his photographic trips.
