Small octavo; 208pp. A Very Good copy of the author's autobiography in publisher's green-blue cloth, titles to spine and author's name to front board yellow, top edge yellow. Laid in is a May 25th, 1934 typed letter (on William Jackson Books Limited) to Housatonic Book Shop, Salisbury Conn. advising '... We are sending you a copy of this work by today's mail as per your order. A Mr. C.M. Grieve has objected to a certain passage in the book and all copies were called back to have this passage deleted. We managed to keep your copy and so you have the real first edition.'
