Two short essays by Pablo Picasso, originally published as magazine articles (from 1923 and 1930) and collected here in book form in which he reflects on art, creativity, and the role of the artist. Pasquale Giovanni Napolitano (1907–1984) was an Italian-American artist and printmaker associated with the Los Angeles art scene. His signed lithograph portrait of Picasso is an important feature of this edition.
