This was one of the main portfolios of John Lennon’s drawings and illustrations that Yoko Ono authorized for release and touring starting in the late 1980s (around 1986–1988 onward). Lasco Productions (run by Larry Schwartz in Santa Rosa, California) was the company that organized and toured many of these Lennon art exhibitions across the US. They handled sales, produced promotional materials, and issued Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) for the limited-edition serigraphs, lithographs, and prints in the series. The prints were usually limited to editions of 300 + artist’s proofs.
