Max Poschin was primarily a California commercial photographer and publisher who produced souvenir postcards in the shape of cities, states, parks, and landmarks; folded view books; and travel ephemera during the 1940s and 1950s. With his Yosemite map, Poschin identifies scenic views of Yosemite Valley, including El Capitan, Cathedral Spires, Yosemite Falls, Vernal & Nevada Falls, Half Dome, Mirror Lake and more.
