Paul Lafargue (1842–1911), was a Cuban-born French[1] political writer, economist, journalist, literary critic, activist and Karl Marx's son-in-law. His best known work, "The Right to Be Lazy", was first published "Le Droit à la paresse" in French in 1883 as a critique of the capitalist "work ethic."
