Margit Kovács (1902–1977) was one of Hungary's major 20th-century ceramic artists, known especially for her figurative, folk-influenced ceramic sculpture. The catalog includes brief descriptions of the works and photographic reproductions of approximately one-third of the collection, including Kovács's characteristic figurative ceramics, religious subjects, folk-inspired compositions, plaques, vessels, and architectural ceramic works.
